Again Spectrum has a rather sophisticated robot test system that can analyze your Combo unit - It can see the quality of the signal you are getting - Re-ping it to clear garbage that has accumulated - Few No the DVR-s end up with garbage after a few months and just need a reboot -
Could be you need to take yours in for an exchange but first get it tested with one free phone call. Yea they will sense the phone number on the account so sure your brother might be the person you need but you could buy him a beer or lunch to motivate him

From Spectrum: > UPLOAD TEST ERROR > A socket error occurred during the Upload test. Please try again later.
Speedtest suggests this is due to a firewall although I do not remember ever setting one up.

So what download speed did you get
Fail of upload is interesting because for that test to work Spectrum sends you a file stored temp and then requests the file back and tests the speed of return - I am smart enough to say I do not no what is going on at this point OTHER Then there is a Problem and this is where a phone call to Spectrum is the answer on the Robot test - If it fails that Spectrum will make suggestions to solve with a live on phone person
