It's like
Day to day stuff that they're taking care of her
And it's difficult to get her to see doctors

There is also two aunts and an uncle to help take care of her too, they all live together or right across the street
At some point yeah I'm sure she'll have to go into care but tbh I don't want to think about that yet

Yea lots goes wrong as people age - I keep fighting it but I am sure one day I will have to give in and act my number - But damn not without me doing my best to live life to the fullest until then.
Then again one can find people a fraction of my age that are already living more like the dead.
I tried to add just a tad of levity to this thread but alas the immature show up and well such is this chan.
Just be the best daughter/grandchild you can be and finish school. That is what your parents and grandparents/relatives want -

You wood have to look up the specific dementia - for sure Alzheimer's does.
Time off sure if you are that burned out - That said I doubt being closer to relatives is going to lift your spirits if you plan on a long term stay during what could be a mean kind of time.

Yeah I would probably stay here, work or welfare if I can't
Would visit for a bit tho
When I told my dad he just said he trusted my judgement and that I could always move in if I wanted/needed
That made my cry in a good way
