Alright, so the pro-choice people say that a woman should be able to choose what she does with her body. I agree 100%. She, and she alone, should choose. However, how is a fetus of another living, autonomous human “her body”? It is not a part of her body. It is a separate, autonomous human being who is using her body for sustenance, but is not literally a part of her body.

well you know that's an age-old thing to say, about the "own body" thing
I think that "ew, get it out" is a more compelling arugument

It is not autonomous. It requires the woman's body to survive.

Yes, but it is not just a part of her body.

Correct. Pregnancy is dangerous for many people and it is not cool to force someone to carry to term though.

What if it is a normal, healthy pregnancy?

Normal pregnancies are still hard as fuck on the body and cause irreversible changes. Some are really weird. A lot of women have dental issues because the fetus leeches all the calcium, or grow a shoe size or two because it like loosens the muscles or something. It's still 9 months of carrying a fetus, can't drink or smoke, can't work near the end, could cause serious social or familial issues including homelessness...

All of that... just because she wanted to ride the cock carousel.

abortion paid for by the tax payer in the full 9 months
and its ok to abort if you don't like the gender (which according to the same people promoting these liberal abortion laws doesn't even exist)
this already a reality in orgeon btw

A tumor is alive with living cells. Can be removed at will by those who remove them.
Same for a fetus.

I certainly wouldn't want to go through the hassle of buying new shoes or taking prenatal vitamins.

I know. I just thought "pregnancy is really bad you might need to buy new shoes and not drink for 9 months" sounded a bit ridiculous. Like, I would have gone for something like the pelvic floor collapsing and causing incontinence or gestational diabetes.

My point was that even a healthy pregnancy with minimal issues is harsh on the body and causes irreversible changes

Yep and pregnancy is more dangerous to the mother than abortion iirc

You are all missing the original point, though: a baby is not “just a part of the woman’s body”.

For abortion sake just treat it like a tumor. It is part of a person's body and can be removed.
If it is not desired it should be removed.
