Quick story. My Grandmother was Russian. I as kiddlet was over for weekend and she was about to cook Zucchini. I said I did not care for.
She dipped them in eggs with herb breading and I LOVED Them - Now I like them the way I used to not like them
Lesson was and still is - There is probably a way they can be prepared for you that will thrill you. As a kid I hated the Color and did not want to eat them.

@previous (Sheila LaBoof)Been a few years since I bought some of these. One great thing about them is that they do not adsorb oil like other Eggplants do.
I think they originated in Thailand but running out of net play/work time
