The mayor of Los Angeles talks about how the walk of fame is a prize procession of the city and yet they have done anything to clean it up. There are homeless people sitting on the walk, the buildings are getting run down, graphite everywhere. There is only like one or two shops this side of Schreider Blvd that are worth looking at.
This place felt like being in old town Victorville only that I get the sense that it isn't nearly as bad as here.

No, they're not, but that still doesn't mean they aren't a problem. What I am confused about is how come none of them checked into the LGBT Center which also serves as a homeless shelter. I presume that service is intended for LGBT people who were disowned or kicked out so I wouldn't expect them to just take in any homeless people or Bert off of the street. But it depresses me that so many people could become homeless like that. Not sure if the city itself needs more homeless shelters or if something is wrong with the political system or what, but it's just fucking depressing. One guy, though his sign was smart, had a sign that read "Get your photo taken with a world famous homeless person." This makes me wonder if anyone taken him up on his offer. We have homeless people here and all we do is cast them aside like society's garbage.
