It's not the most genius of comedy, but it's terrific background noise whenever you cannot handle the silence of the night. It is something that can still generate plenty of laughs from me and maybe even provide a few memorable jokes every now and again.

The show gets shitted on for not being some grandiose comedy when the show clearly was never suppose to be genius writing. Family Guy is dumb. Very dumb. It's just something stupid that can occasionally provide a few laughs, a few weird moments (they are brilliant at that), and maybe once in a blue moon a few thought provoking episodes. It doesn't need to aspire to be greater than that even though MacFarlane is clearly upset that he hasn't received an Emmy yet.
If this makes me a normie, then fuck it.
