Topic: Are there people who aren't deaf or assistants to the deaf who use sign languages?

I was told that sign language might help for people with speech impediments, but I never recall seeing any one who doesn't have hard of hearing using it.

@OP

Certainly, Catherine. The families of most deaf people are usually experts in sign language.
