Do you have to be within the same facility in order to watch all of your media across different devices or could you perhaps watch content from your home PC (if it's on) at school?
You can't access a server if the server is offline

You know you can just install and try it right?

@OP
you can stream remotely from one computer to another if you have a decent connection at home.

Plex detects episodes based on filenames and references an online database. It has trouble with a lot of fansubbed anime because the database mostly uses western titles and concepts of seasons, where fansubbers tend to use Romanized Japanese titles for shows and second "season's" tend to have a an addition to the original name.
For easy identification, you want to use the
format.
ie: "South Park s14e06 201 - Uncensored.mp4" "Robot.Chicken.5x18.Fool's.Goldfinger.avi"
The episode title isn't parsed from the filename by the Plex media identifier, it's retrieved from the online db based on the season and episode number. This would cause the original filename for the South Park episode to be misidentified as season 2 episode 1 as the original filename is "South Park 201 - Uncensored.mp4" when 201 is actually the name of the episode.

With regards to in-network streaming, this is utterly false. When I tried remote streaming I had no issues with the quality, aside from an episode with snowfall with caused severe buffer lag, but that's a problem of the server computer (a laptop) not being able to process fast enough. However, this was a year ago and I haven't done any out-of-network streaming since then.

I was talking about the remote streaming. I could not select high bandwith options. I guess maybe it was my network.

Yeah you're obviously going to be limited by whatever your max upload rate is on the serving side.
