I used my built-in bluetooth to call someone, let's say John Doe
The screen on the car dashboard said I was dialing, and then connected to, John Doe, who is in my contacts list
But the person who answered had a somewhat-similar-sounding name, let's say Joe Dorn
And Joe Dorn's name appeared on my phone and he was the one I was connected to
Syntax, please explain what your satellites did wrong

I'm absolutely sure. I was concerned that Syntax may have died, and with his passing, all of the Qualcomm satellites fell out of the sky. :(

Bluetooth is somewhat of a touch painful subject 4me at the moment and will be until April 5 or just after.
Anyway clearly it is not really a Bluetooth issue. It's clearly a lost in translation issue -
Nor do I mean "Translation" as a language term. Phone system in general switching/connecting software.
So exactly what kind of fast food were you eating when you mumbled the full name?

It's Taco Tuesday so I did eat what is called Fast Food Except Tacos are not at all fast food when made at home.
I am frankly amazed at how good voice recognition software has become - Mostly because of IBM's Watson.
Did you perchance try again or pull over to the side of the road and hand dialed the number?
