Topic: What makes someone classed a "Survivor"

Svet !jzYkdX7lIw started this discussion 8 years ago #72,519

I'm I'm seeing on the news about these school shooting "survivors" and I'm wondering, was this person wounded, like shot in the arm or something because if that was me I would consider myself a survivor or were they actually shot at but unwounded? Even then I would consider myself a survivor. Or did they just happen to attend school that day? Which I surspect is the case and if that was me I wouldn't consider myself a survivor.

Question 1: Were you present for the shooting

If yes, go to 2.
If no, you're not a survivor.

Question 2: did you die in the shooting?
If no, you're a survivor.
If yes, you're dead so obviously not.

for the news media networks to identify you as a survivor all you have to do is be a no good liar and agree with all their political bullshit and take orders

But a holocaust survivor is someone who went to a camp but for what ever reason wasn't killed. Not someone who is Jewish or is Jewish and happened to be in Europe

Holocaust "survivors" are as fake as the Florida shooting "survivors" on CNN
its even tax exempt

In this instance it’s logical and you are just being whiny and difficult.

Calling every woman who fucked her away around Hollywood or had her ass grabbed at the office in 2002 a survivor is something else.

Personally I deal with these frustrations by beating my girlfriend, but you are forever alone, so maybe try a hooker.

I'd say anyone present in the school building at the time of the shooting who is still alive is a survivor.

Of course there are different degrees of survivor-ness. Someone who was shot and wounded is more of a survivor than someone who was far from the shooting. Imo
