Tonight, I am cooking some pork liver in a simple stir fry. I prefer beef liver (and of course foie gras), but this is what they had at the Asiam market. Do you like eating liver? I do not know if I would enjoy it all day, every day, but maybe once a week I like it. It is also very high in certain vitamins and minerals.

You like eating the livers of tortured animals? They literally stuff a metal tube down a duck or goose's throat and force feed it grain until it's liver becomes engorged.

That is the old way. The newer foie gras farms let the birds run free, and to feed them, they are gentle with the feeding.

I will read up on it. I am certainly against animal torture. I had just read that the new practices were humane, but I could be wrong.
