I am proud to be human,
a species so evolved.
Where we take slaves of our own.
And say screw you to the world.

I am proud to be human,
we truly have evolved.
We are ever so progressive,
yet so stuck in our ways.

We are so in tune with God,
yet doubt his every way.
We hate on ourselves,
yet we love ourselves.
Cognitive dissonance knows us so well.
Yes, I am proud to be human.

I wrote this song with a tune of "Big Rock Candy Mountain" in mind. Please tell me how terrible it is lyrically or literally.
