Whose putting down activism? It seems like BLM lost sight of their focus to ensure racial equality. Once protests turn to violence and riots they stop being protests and the issues that activists stand up for is quickly forgotten. This was something that Dr. King clearly wanted to express in his speech or else he wouldn't have included it. We cannot walk alone when it comes to ensuring everyone has access to the American dream.

I like it when BLM came to the UK and they were reminded that one black person was killed by police in the last 3 years and he was an actual thug with a string of murders behind him and he would have killed more. They went away after that.
