Time is the most precious thing a person can possess. Once used up, a minute can never again be regained. And yet there are people who would squander that time in the name of fleeting materialism, or for power, or for reputation. What does any of that matter to you? Why do you give it such value in your mind that it justifies wasting the only life you have on gaining it?

Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.
