Someone on IRC told me that I said something stoically and I already utilize the Stoic practice of negative visualization.
The thing I said was that in some way we all leave a mark on the world even if we don't know it. If you someone asks you for directions to a certain building, for example, on a college campus. You've helped that person out somehow. I realized this when I thought back afterward about what if I didn't help them and just walked passed leaving them confused. The timeline of the world would be altered even if it's a very very minor amount. Since that person would have had to ask another person and eat up seconds of their valuable time. Or worse, waste seconds of their time walking around campus looking for the right building only to find out they were right next to it the entire time.
I think it was Towelly who told me this, but they said this was a very Stoic thought and I am here left wondering if I am a Stoic.
Stoic Sam, somebody, please enlightenment on this puzzling contemplation.

Honey child, ain’t no use being a Stoic. Life hard enough for all of us as it is.

@previous (Mother Delreatha !ad2CmUrSVM)
I never asked to have these thoughts. They just sort of pop into mind. This is why I am seriously questioning if I am a Stoic because I don't know if I am. I am still going to practice the negative visualization since it has helped me in the past and hopefully will help me in the future keep a level head in tough situations.
