Topic: I hate getting over being sick and then...

Catherine !TGirlYJKXM started this discussion 8 years ago #71,254

Boom! I am sick once again. I think it is either A) the flu or B) food poisoning from eating at Golden Corral since my mother is also sick. I know I never want to see that place again which is odd since my brother's girlfriend works at that establishment.

Golden Corral™ is yuck disgusting pig slop for morbidly obese Americans. Sorry you are sick. Get lots of rest and fluids, and eat something healthy for once.

Look at those sesame seeds. Just beautiful. That's one fine bun, made for maximum good bun-eating experience.

It looks better than half the shit at Golden Corral.

@857,368 (B)
I think it's food poisoning since I feel a little better after taking a runny shit. My mother's issue might have been dehydration.

Golden Corral is the worst. I have to eat there regularly and everything is so disgusting. I feel sick just thinking about it.

> I Worked at Golden Corral, and It Was Disgusting
" I overcooked sirloin steaks, burnt omelets to order, and kneaded yesterday's uneaten dinner rolls into tomorrow's bread pudding. And I watched, and I smelled, and I couldn't believe it then and I still can't believe it now.

After quitting to manage an Abercrombie & Fitch, I never set foot in the restaurant again. "

So like I thought I might try that horrible place but discovered all the ones near my hood have closed door permanently.

Compared to the rest of your post, I fail to see how these two things are bad things.

You may be correct. With all the terrible nasty bugs found in Corral's food, overcooking may be warranted.

And what relevance did your post add to mine? How is overcooking a steak or burning an omelet when the person requested it a bad thing? There are people who like their omelets burned I presume and there are people who eat well done steaks. The rest of your post sounded horrific, but how are these two things, in any sense, bad? Also, what does education have to do with this thread or this conservation?

Calm down bucky. No one and I mean NO ONE wants eggs burnt. Have you ever eaten dried up burnt eggs?
No cow gives up its life to end up overcooked.

> Also, what does education have to do with this thread
Fuck if I have the worldly answer to your question. This much I do know. Bad food has no place in life. Buffets in general are not opportunities to expect good food. There may be exceptions to that rule and usually found at Indian reservations because the last thing they want is driving out the gamblers with fast potty needs.

Yelp reviews.

1/9/2018
I ate here with my wife for first time ever and ended up getting food poisoned which is no fun let me tell you throwing up so much I lost my voice constipation cramps nausea cold sweats and chills diarreha etc I had only targeted the meat there steak meatloaf roastbeef and one desert I called corporate who said call store only to have manager say well no one else has called in I'm the only complaint that can't do nothing for me instead of being sincere compassionate for his customers seems he's only worried about the money in his pocket it's kinda pricey to eat there which is why I thought I was in safe but also clean hands evidently this is not the case I would steer clear of this place and avoid their food and shady hospitality

.................................

I came here for the recent 3 stars reviews, but I'm sad to say that it did not live up to its expectations. Everything was either over cooked, dry, or just plain sad. Do not be fooled by the variety of choices. How can you make that fried chicken taste so dry? Might just put sandpaper on the plates.

I came here hungry and left sick. 15 dollars per person on a weekend.

.......................................

My family wanted to go to this buffet for months already because of a recommendation and we finally got the chance to.

The moment I walked in, the restaurant gave me anxiety. There were way too many people but since we all were starving, we decided to go ahead and eat.

What a mistake.

The food immediately made all our stomach's uneasy. The food served was cold at times and almost everything I ate, I merely nibbled on 3 plates of different food just to be full. It was the worst experience at a buffet. The meat was cold and the salads were soggy. It was easily the oddest experience at a buffet full of food.

The only positive was the cotton candy...

Please skip this buffet. There are plenty of other food options at the plaza that are well worth your time and money. I have no idea why there's always a line but do not be fooled into thinking it's because they're great.

At least you didn't eat a poorly prepared pufferfish.
