Same here. One black girl in highschool. Except for the large Gonzalez family and a decedent of a famous Latino actor that was about it and Kool aid was popular. As I remember it all varieties tasted exactly the same no matter the color yet red was the most fav.

Yes you are. That white girl was Queen of the Prom. Truly a beauty and once a friend a close friend back in grade and middle school. A friendship I blew up being a jerk. Now thing is at the 10 year high school reunion she asked me to sit down and talk with her. Not one word passed between her and me in high school.
She totally forgot about why I blew up the friendship nor could I tell her because she told me she was enjoying her last days of freedom before moving to France to become a cloistered NUN - One of those places where Nuns never speak or contact outside people including their family members ever again.

I did not include this tiny detail. She wanted to no why I wood walk past her in high school and never look her in the eye much less acknowledge her at all.
She said I bet you thought I was not available (she did not say for dating but that was the gist) I just could not remind her of why I was such a jerk to her in High School - Reason was - Back in middle school she wood invite me to use her pool - Her parents were rich and lived in estates area. Where I lived no one had a pool - Her parents were super nice to me
Then one day I found a 81/2 by 11 black and white photo in street of a topless model - Took pick to school and put in desk and then told a friend I had taken a naked pic of the friend while she was changing in pool house and in minutes my desk was opened by principle and all hell well it was messy
So thing is she forgot all about that - Maybe she even totally undersood? Boys being boys. But I was totally embarrassed.
