I've found a flaw with these Stoic Thoughts: although many of them are mostly correct, very few can apply to all people. For example, take the case of Genie:
Nobody can attain the level of a Stoic sage. It is impossible for a fallible creature to become infallible. Nevertheless, the impossibility of achievement does not preclude the Stoic from the attempt.
