> It's just too mainstream. Anything with a laugh track is, by any reasonable standard, complete shit.
If you have to be told what to laugh at by the people making the show there's no hope left tbqh.

Exactly. Humor is subjective, so you shouldn't be forced to go along with what other people are laughing at.

@OP
The main character is say as gay can be...his roommate is just about as gay but is unconvincingly portrayed as bi..
Possibly one of the top five worst TV shows ever..

If you want to be bored and watch an unfunny show, go ahead. Only time I laughed was the episode with the robot arm.

Humor is specific to the person who is looking at it.
Trying out a free TV show costs nothing except time of the viewer.
Not my kind of show. Apparently it is for millions and millions of viewers.
Damn a review of Wiki and Neil deGrasse Tyson and Stephen Hawking were guests on the show. Other Nobel laureates as well.
> The review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 55% approval rating for the first season based on reviews from 22 critics, with an average rating >of 5.18/10. The website's critical consensus reads, "The Big Bang Theory brings a new class of character to mainstream television, but much of the comedy >feels formulaic and stiff."
I suppose that formulaic and stiff is what put me off. 55% approval puts this show just on the outside of approval -
YIKES 18 to 20 million viewers. This show fills the wallets of Network and stars. New wallets have to be bought almost monthly.

in this episode of Mike and Molly, we see the aforementioned characters being gigantically fat
being gigantically fat would go on to be featured in every Mike and Molly episode

I could not stand a one minute view of that show.
