the new one doesn't believe me about anything and wants to put me back on ssris
I've been on like 5 and they just make me puke without helping anything
I'm pretty sure I have a sleep disorder but I'm terrified to try to get a sleep study done in case it comes back normal and then nobody ever believes me
right now I'm taking modafinil and Wellbutrin and at 3.30 pm today I cried from exhaustion after waking up at 10 am with 9 or 10 hours of sleep
this isn't working
fuck
I want modafinil and Wellbutrin and either Adderall or Ritalin (maybe Ritalin would be better) but he won't fucking believe me and forgets what we talked about the last session even tho he has his notes right in front of him
fuck
@854,037 (E)
meh
my mental health is mostly fine
sleep disorders man
@previous (kook !!OPZbEQMT1)
ritalin is used pretty often to treat narcolepsy
adderall worked fairly well, it kept my mind awake but my body was still exhausted
with modafinil i have the opposite issue
i briefly had both together and they worked great but this guy won't keep giving me that combination

I as well suggest you try going somewhat sober for a while and see if all those recreational drugs you ingest are messing you up even more

untrue, what she does is write you a script that lasts you just long enough until your next appointment. sometimes that's a week or two, sometimes a month or two
either way ill call the clinic monday and make sure they got my request :<

Get a fucking test done, as soon as possible. If you have a sleep disorder, then you'll be able to make a plan to deal with it. If not, then you know your problems are caused by something else.
Also, try melatonin.
Anonymous B replied with this 8 years ago, 1 minute later, 20 hours after the original post[^][v]#854,286
Common melatonin side effects might include short-lasting feelings of depression, mild tremor, mild anxiety, abdominal cramps, irritability, reduced alertness, confusion or disorientation, and abnormally low blood pressure (hypotension).

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this was a joke, but just in case it's not: What the fuck is wrong with you? I was trying to help. You said earlier in the thread that nobody desevres to feel alone and asked how to help, but you never even gave any advice at all, and I was attempting to give a suggestion that might help. This was clearly supposed to be a serious thread, so I'm trying to take everything here seriously, and I really hope you weren't genuine with that insult. @previous (K)
It works for me, but never mind.

Oh. Well, my other suggestion still stands. You should do one as soon as you can if it's interfereing with your daily life.

it absolutely is
current psych said he would do a referral for one a couple meetings ago but a) i doubt he remembered and b) it takes months anyway
also like
im still afraid that if I do one and it comes back as normal then they will stop giving me anything to treat the symptoms and I will be totally fucked

If it turns out that you don't have a sleep disorder, then you'll know that the problems are being caused by something else, which will narrow down the options and make the path forward more clear. Of course it would make things easier if it is a sleep disorder, because then you'll know for sure right away, but if you don't have one then they won't stop treating your symptoms, but they'l just try to get at the root cause as well. Either way, it'll be a massive step forwards.

The first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem..
btw...this is not intended as being judgemental...but from a position of being interested in you not suffering..

and I'm not a heavy user, I've taken speed one time since finishing finals on December 21st
that's a month ago

does that sound like a speed addict to you

A self diagnosed sleep disorder? Better take lots of party drugs for that.
