Working in Sephora IT is beyond terrible. It's run by maniacs that constantly publicly shame their employees, lie about opportunities of growth and advancement, abuse employees time, and make it nearly impossible to advance your career. Yes we could have just walked out of the door, or found better jobs, but Sephora management psychologically breaks you down and exploits your weaknesses, which ultimately makes it very difficult to just walk away. We also have a hard time walking out when our livelyhood depends on getting payed.
Our goal is to spread info about how horrible IT is at Sephora, and hopefully prevent people from experiencing the nightmare myself and former co-workers dealt with.
The numerous negative Glassdoor reviews left by former IT employees are constantly removed by Sephora; they are trying supress the truth. They make huge efforts to hide the fact that they mistreat their employees, and have no remorse in covering for their sadistic managers, because the company makes billions a year peddling over priced garbage.
We are doing what we can within the legal limits to spread knowledge about this and other companies that mistreat employees, including leaving truthful Glassdoor reviews.
