I saw that! Some of the kids were adults, and one was 29. I wonder what sort of horrible psychological control those parents had to be able to chain up and starve a 29 year old man? I want to learn about their motivation and beliefs. Were they religious nutjobs?

They are pretty sure that they are quiverfull. Have you heard of them? They don't know why they were starved or chained yet.
They said that the 17 year old who escaped and alerted the authorities looked like a ten year old.
The parents are really weird. They renewed their wedding vows three times. The kids wore the same matching outfits each time and they hired the same Elvis impersonator for each event.
