So far most of my gains have been result of Stock Market gains. When I add the loss I took on betting on the election and the loss I took with Brexit - I have recovered 85% so I still have a way to go. Given there is no way to take the loss on my tax's - There is one way I may jump a bunch ahead very soon but am Conflicted on making more going short market moves. One requires that I er hummmmm best I not put in print that upcoming possible move
The other is where I live real estate I invested in has continued to gain like crazy and it is my least FAV way of making money but frankly its such a win win -
I DO NEED the market to take a DIVE - Its real hard to make money when the cost of a buy is so high - Need somewhat of a crash so I can buy stuff on the cheep - Currently I have to look for a company that is of high overall value that gets bad news and takes a quick dive - This is not easy figuring out who is going to get bad news in advance
