I just watched someone dislocate his shoulder and pop it back in. One of the most painful looking things I've seen in a while. How bad was it, if that's happened to you?

I've had dislocating knees since I was 5 due to a deformity. It is horrifying. I can't even explain it.

I dislocated my shoulder badly several years ago. I have had it come out probably 6 times then.
It can be incredibly painful. If you can not fully relax your arm and let it hang there is a lot of nerve pain. Any movement hurts worse than anything else I’ve experienced.
I ripped it out while in physical therapy and everyone was impressed by my lack of shrieking.

Recently it went out after 1i years of not happening. I pushed on it with all of my strength. Then I was taken to the hospital. The doctor tried to force it back in twice. Nothing. They finally put me under and got it in. It had been out for two hours! Turns out that I now have a bone spur that hooks on put of the knee, preventing normal methods from working.
