Indeed, my cat is a glueball.

The catmission went out on my cat. It was going up a tree, and the catmission went out, and it fell about 15 feet. Wonder how much to rebuild or to replace.

An odd feature of some catmissions is that they will spontaneously kick into reverse without any warning. This seems to be a built in safety feature and usually just requires some gentle coaxing rather than a full rebuild.

So what do you recommend on the coaxing? Since it fell off the tree, it's kind of been parked in the garage. I haven't had time to look under the tail yet and see how bad the damage is.

Well yea, but I didn't even know. He pulled that off fairly well.

I started up the cat, it sputtered a minute but finally started purring. I put it into reverse, and a grinding, high piercing rumble, came from the rear. It purred a little more, then cut off.
What do you think?

You might have to take it to a specialist.
