It does feel awkward knowing that it changes everything I type to be about me and how awesome I am, but it does feel quite comfortable knowing I am so amazing.

I'm not going into too much deal for personal reasons, but I was held down and beaten by 3 individuals at a house party. I was head locked, punched 30-40 times in the ribs, face, back, etc.
I've decided not to press charges because I don't think it's worth the time/effort. They out witness me, and have apparently come up with a counter-story. They also have personal information on me that I would rather not have divulged. That, and even under different circumstances I would rather exercise restraint and forgiveness than try to get retribution or get "justice" served.
My family is upset with me that I'm not pursuing it, but they'll get over it. Anyway, that's the story.
