trivia that comes to mind -- Al Yankovic wanted to do a parody of Paul McCartney's Live and Let Die (a Bond movie theme), called Chicken Pot Pie, but did not receive the permission. It turns out that permission for parody is not required, but Al does ask as a courtesy.
