I was just sitting around the other day saying to myself, "You know what would taste great with pork? Pickles!"

“Piquante” means “spicy”. Please find me one single ingredient in this recipe that is spicy.

> 4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
Does accuracy count? Like is .7 inch or .81 work as well?

> 1 1/4 cups water
Is this tap water or does Lipton® recommend a fancy bottled water.

You could always fish some old Taco Bell sauce packets out of a glove box or trash can and drizzle the contents on top before serving.

Trained Chef? LoL

The Piquante comes from the addition of the:

Gherkin - To Pickle a Gherkin "it takes 30 days. Since gherkins have high water content, the texture changes after being soaked in a brine solution because the solution replaces the water. The brine solution is infused with different spices and herbs such as rosemary, chili, tarragon, mustard seeds garlic and sugar to make it garlicky, spicy, sweet and tangy.

If you think Gherkin pickles are “spicy”, then you are definitely a USAmerican.

Ahh yes, that would create an authentic, traditional, Mexican Pork Chops Piquante!

Spicy:
Dictionary
spic·y
ˈspīsē/
adjective
adjective: spicy; comparative adjective: spicier; superlative adjective: spiciest; adjective: spicey

flavored with or fragrant with spice.
"pasta in a spicy tomato sauce"
synonyms: hot, peppery, piquant, picante;

Definition of spicy
spicier; spiciest
1 : having the quality, flavor, or fragrance of spice
2 : producing or abounding in spices
3 : lively, spirited
4 : piquant

Photo is listed as the worlds hottest Chile pepper.

Odds are it is not the Chile pepper infused in the Gherkin. A somewhat more mild Chile is used to give the Gherkin the heat required to satisfy. Now of course if the object of a Chile is to cover up poorly made food, then the Gherkin is not going to be useful.

Gherkins are only “spicy” to the bland, timid, puerile palates of USAmericans. Thanks.

The term "spicy" was not mentioned in that definition, but you responded to the comment as if it was. Would you care to address the terms actually found in that definition?
