Your personal tax cuts expire in ten years to fund a permanent corporate tax cut. Your taxes will actually go up over time as this bill is in effect unless you own a corporation or are in the top percentage of income earners, neither of which applies to you. And this is all being funded by putting the country more into debt and dramatically increasing the cost of purchasing health insurance on the ACA marketplace.

In 2018...Taxpayers in the bottom quintile (those with income less than $25,000) would see an average tax cut of $60,or 0.4 percent of after-tax income. Taxpayers in the middle income quintile (those with income between about $49,000 and $86,000) would receive an average tax cut of about $900,or 1.6 percent of after-tax income.
In 2025...Taxpayers in the bottom quintile would see an average tax cut of $70, or 0.4percent of after-taxincome. Taxpayers in the middle income quintile would receive an average tax cut of about $900, or 1.3percent of after-tax income.
In 2027, 25 percent of taxpayers would experience a tax cut from the included provisions, averaging about $1,500, and 53 percent would face an average tax increase of $180 (table 6). In the bottom income quintile, 11 percent would receive a tax cut and 33 percent would face a tax increase. In the middle income quintile,24 percent would receive a tax cut and 70 percent would face a tax increase. In the top 1 percent of the income distribution, 76 percent would receive a tax cut and 24 percent would face a tax increase.

Probably, but it would have been primarily on the wealthy (i.e. not you) and the money raised would have been used so the working poor (i.e. you) could have affordable health insurance.

To make more money on the new tax plan I have 2 pay my account/CPA more money. 4 Sure it will force me to change a few things in the way I have my business set up. Clearly it will put more money in my wallet. I still think it is unfair that Others get screwed Yet I cannot afford to ignore common business cents

Article 25 of the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 states that "Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services."

Ok but that's totally unrelated to the original point. Getting health insurance through work is such a dumb idea that only exists because companies needed a way to compete when the government instituted wage controls during ww2. The only way you can get decent affordable health insurance is by being:
1. Broke as shit and on Medicaid
2. Old as shit and on Medicare
3. Employed fulltime at a job that gives you it
All of that is incredibly arbitrary. Why not just make sure everyone can get basic affordable medical care? It's not a luxury, it's as essential to being alive as food or shelter and you can get both of those for cheap/free from the government. You have this distinction between the "deserving" and "undeserving" poor that makes no sense to me. You are basically one bottle of vodka away from going back to being an alcoholic homeless jobless person and I don't think you magically lose the moral right to acquire medical care just because you fell off the wagon.

It really is unjustifiable. People have been talking about reforming it for literally decades, and the ACA was the best people thought of and in hindsight it isn't even that good. People are very slowly but surely coming around to the idea that healthcare insurance does not work in a market based system without extreme government oversight, so we'll eventually get either that or true single payer eventually. It's just a question of how many people need to suffer and die from being unable to afford medical treatment before that happens unfortunately.

And some people never use their health insurance that often like my mother who has Kaiser. I think the last time she used it was to get her eyes checked only after she has to get another driving test done due to her being an elder. She has a shit load of other medical issues and she doesn't really get it taken care of even though she could now that she has Kaiser thanks to her job.

Not accurate. The majority of those with advanced degrees work at companies or institutions with quality health plans. Just because your degree does not qualify you for a decent job and health plan is no reason to whine.
