Yea just got a phone call from a gal I met on the beach 4 years ago with invite to one of several parties she is doing for Christmas. Will have to drop other plans but she has been star gazing and I want to see wot one can see - She lives more North of me so perhaps a more better view of the North Star.

It's just shitty. The streams spray in such a way that there's a fine cold mist around each stream of hot water and some of them are at fucked up angles so they go way off to one side and hit the wall instead

Gesloopt. Use a different shower or suffer in sadness for weeks. Putting a new showerhead on isn't that hard afaik if you can reach it. I'm still getting gesplooted trying to find an apartment. Hopefully the next wave of craigslist spam messages i send out works. Inshallah it will.

The one I ordered has LEDs and a couple pressure settings, and I got a tube so it doesn't have to be stuck up there. Estimated delivery January 17-February 7 though :<

Aubrey got disowned essentially so I'm trying to get him to come back here. I think he's in the shelter for Christmas :c but so far he wants to stick around and try to fix things

I've gotten a couple responses but I was slow on committing to any one place because I hadn't seen that many and I didn't know what the lay of the land was like and then they all dried up. I'll just pick the next one that looks decent and live there. I'm in FB groups and haven't seen too many postings that fit what I want but I'll keep looking.
Oh no, what happened to Aubrey? :( Being in a shelter for Christmas sucks, hopefully you can help him out a bit. He's had some shitty luck recently, even by punk standards.

Ahh yeah. It's hard to find a place when you're out of town. Maybe sublet or transfer a lease that will end soon so that you aren't tied down too long if the place sucks? What are you looking for?
Uhh his sister said he's a danger to her family and can't be near them anymore. His mom is sick of him using and told him to get his shit out and that she doesn't want him around for Christmas. He's in Ottawa still, I told him I would pay for a rideshare (it's like $15-20) if he wants and he can crash where he was before at ~punk lofts~ or at my place. He wants to try to fix things for a while I think.

Oh jeez, family drama is the hardest to resolve sometimes. Idk what their home living situation is but it sounds very not good. :/ I hope he can repair the relationship ut that sounds ugly if it's at the point where he's kicked out. He's crashing here and there I think, will probably end up at the shelter at some point. He'll find his way through but I'm sure he feels like hell right now. I hope he takes me up on the offer.

Not the case but the building next door is a crack house run by the bikers. They actually wanted the building my friends live in but friends got all the boys in the hood together and they said fuck it. City's shutting down the crack house in the spring but bikers will just start another one

I t is in fact my friends down the street who do. And it's not really a problem for them. I'm just concerned about everyone who will be on the street when it is shut down. They were gonna do it last month but decided to wait cause that's a lot of people to put on the street at the begining of winter.
