Yeah, in Britain. The further away you go from Britain, the more International English is taught. Also, British English has changed so much over the past few centuries that American English is actually closer the English that was spoken in the 17th century. British English is only taught more in those other places because of British colonization. And actually, you're still wrong, because in most of those places that English has changed so much that it can't even really be called British English anymore. American English is still called International English.

No, it isn't. English is the lingua franca of the 21st century and the United States is the main reason for this. This is why International English follows American English more closely than British English. "British" English may be taught in those places you mentioned, but as I said, that's only because of the historical influence the British Empire had on those places, and I put "British" in quotations because if you actually go to those places you find that their own culture has modified the English enough that it's really their own English. In Singapore, their English can practically be called Singapore English. I'm also hard pressed to believe that you if go to these places you wouldn't find that American terms and pronunciation have not influenced the way they talk, especially in places like Hong Kong where there are so many American business men. That is why International English follows American English so closely. The United States is the most influential country in the world, no matter how much some people resent that fact.
