@842,509 (B)i know! he's fucking awesome. but he's not a high jumper like some of the others. the monkey's paw strikes again. it is my new favorite ground mount though.
i did find out that there are actually some other mounts i want. there are new class specific mounts that are pretty cool, and i want them for my rogue, my priest and my shaman. they're the coolest ones too, imo. the others are kinda meh. and they're not hard to get, they aren't RNG drops, they're reputation rewards. and i think there's only one faction i need to gain rep with. of course the only way to gain rep is to do quests, and there's a daily limit to that, so i'd need to put in a few hours a week for a few weeks to get all three. there's at least that much time before the final raid is open to solo-queue players.
so probably i'll have finished out 4 class campaigns, gotten 3 up to max reputation, and will have probably raided 4 characters with my main very likely doing hardmode raids over the holidays. my rogue is like fairly highly geared now. the legendary items she lucked into have her rated for anything now. i'll end up squeezing my others though the ez-mode raid in january, but they're both many, many hours behind in the gear chase. i don't really care to raid them, so we'll see. i'll have my shaman doing some leather/ore farming, and my priest's tailoring has BiS bags already, so, really she's good and finished out except for class mount. oh, and enchanting. blegh. she's far from max enchanting, may just skip that. idk.
at this point it's time to be buttoning things up and selling stocked materials and getting ready to de-sub till the next expansion. it's been fun, but there's getting to be nothing left to do.

the others are like flying horses and a couple of different dragons. flying horses can be alright, but dragons are generally too big. they're fucking huge. they look great, but functionally leave a lot to be desired. that's why i've been using hippogryphs for like 8 years. small, sleek, fast, high jumpers. hard to beat hippogryphs.
