This is a good case of me trying to get it rite YET my use of English sucks
San Diego does NOT compare in anyway to that list of other cities - The One Exception wood be Latin cooking. Not limited to Mexican - So NO NO San Diego sucks by comparison.
For instance I worked/lived in Russia. In Los Angeles I had a world of choices for Russian - Here? Not worth the drive to the one or three locations wayyy outside my hood4

NO RESTAURANT ON EARTH has a damn potato sommelier who shows you the damn potato!
Anonymous B replied with this 8 years ago, 45 seconds later, 1 hour after the original post[^][v]#842,434
@842,423 (A)
But it doesn't have to be a sommelier per say. It could be a regular line cook or whatever, just showing you the potato. Everyone can be a sommelier.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 8 years ago, 1 minute later, 1 hour after the original post[^][v]#842,435
@previous (B)
No, sommeliers are specially-trained wine experts. And no one shows you the damn potato before cooking it.
