to capture the bee, get a large plastic bag and place a portable light at the bottom of it. the light may be place on the outside of the bag if the plastic is transparent. turn off all other lights, lift the sides of the bag, and wait for the bee to be attracted to the inside and bottom of the bag, when you will close off the top of the bag. you can bring the bee out for release.
