Paramedic. I've done EMT work as an 'explorer' for several years. I really enjoyed it and out of those options I would pick it over any of the other careers.

I have many a friend who is a paralegal. What is I think depends on laws of places you live in.
Here in California they prepare legal briefs, do legal research and just about anything the attorney does except practice before a court. Can make close to $100K a year and no college is necessary, yet helpful.

USAF PJ. Those guys are great. They are paramedics who jump out of planes/helicopters to rescue downed pilots (they rescue others but there main targets are pilots). They are also heavily armed and very lethal. There are more than a few people who owe their lived to a PJ. So that others may live!

Then get off your ass and hit the books. Actually many have become attorneys without a day in school. I do not know if this is true USA Wide? But I do read about someone now and then passing the state bar exam by just self study. In many states of USA Paralegals are allowed to make wills and do other documents and even run their own business as just a Paralegal. Divorce papers etc..

I have heard that at one time (don't know if this is true and if true I don't know if it is still in practice) you could challenge the state bar in some states without a law degree.

Same here and IR BSEE with all it takes for the MSEE and more.
I know people who do exactly what a Processing Engineer does but at say Qualcomm or Intel or IBM
I know many who do that work but have never once heard the term. Looking at one business card from a high level parallel processor engineer from Intel, no such title.
