...and now, to pay for it, they are taking away program s that help the poor, the sick, the elderly, and children. How can any of you tolerate this?

Nobody wants to be poor, sick, elderly or a child. Everyone wants to be rich.
Nobody thinks they will get sick but everyone thinks they will very rich some day.
