Topic: Culinary uses for leftover Hot Dog Water

Anonymous A started this discussion 8 years ago #69,103

I am looking for recipes that use the water left over from boiling hot dogs. Or even the little juices left over if you grill them.

I'm thinking of using it for cooking mashed potatoes or rice, or making ice cubes from it for mixed drinks.

Are there other ideas?

Thank you.

Use as broth.

Salty water with a mix of mystery meat juices and preservatives.

Must be ideal for something. Perhaps adding this to Lipton® Recipe Secrets® and Soup Secrets® Recipe of the Day, is the basis for one award winning recipe.

I will email Lipton® and ask if they have any suggestions.

Pour it in an ice cube tray and stick it in the freezer. You can add it to a glass of water later for a flavorful, refreshing drink.
