Technically, yes, there are probably some that identify as both.

Can a Muslim be atheist

Considering 800 million Muslims out of 1.4 billion are illiterate. That means they cannot even read the Koran. Most grow up playing follow the leader. If the leader is some crazy asshole then you have what you have currently.

Not that reading the Koran is necessarily a good thing because you grow up thinking the Earth is Flat

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_secularism

The definition and application of secularism, especially the place of religion in society, varies among Muslim countries as it does among western countries. Secularism is often used to describe the separation of public life and civil/government matters from religious teachings and commandments, or simply the separation of religion and politics. Secularism in Muslim countries is often contrasted with Islamism, and secularists tend to seek to promote secular political and social values as opposed to Islamic ones. Among western scholars and Muslim intellectuals, there are some debates over secularism which include the understanding of political and religious authorities in the Islamic world and the means and degree of application of sharia in legal system of the state.

Google totally accepts that phrase with out a problem. Perhaps you might try Google Translate where you input my Text and ask for English Translation.

That's the exact opposite as I'm saying. Yeah, some atheists are violent but I wouldn't say most. I live in the bible belt and these Christians are way more insane. One day they're normal, going to church every day, preaching, next thing ya know, they murdered their family.

Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 8 years ago, 1 minute later, 8 hours after the original post[^] [v] #837,069

Honestly insane christians are worth than insane atheists because the christians think they're doing good stuff but the atheists just dont give a shit

Anonymous J joined in and replied with this 8 years ago, 14 minutes later, 8 hours after the original post[^] [v] #837,080

I'm atheist and I don't give a shit, but i don't go out and commit crimes, or murder my family.

I'm one of the coolest atheist you could hang with. I don't give a shit that you believe in a god or satan.... As long as you don't start trying to convert me, or start preaching, we will get along just fine.

You respect me, I respect you. That's how I live life.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with my father. He was impressing the need to be religious on me because it gives you a moral compass. I already have one...
