I would never heat up an avocado in the microwave but since we are already ruining the guac by throwing Lipton soup mix into it, I don't think that matters anymore.

Oh I should ADD and I have tried this
If one has a Avocado that has yet to ripen enough to use - A quick heat in Microwave can make it fully useful - Have been successful and not so much so it is worth trying.
