Mathias Shaw wasn't working against the alliance, he was kidnapped by demons and replaced with an illusionist. i knew my rogues old skill trainer wasn't a traitor. turns out he's a more incompetent spy than i thought, though. that's him in the demon cage. he'd better appreciate it, my rogue doesn't usually get paid to save lives. but planting bombs around Fel Soul hold to create a diversion and stealthing in and out sounded fun.(Edited 8 minutes later.)

i couldn't get many more screenshots because there was an attack to fend off so i missed the whole escape. got Shaw back to Dalaran to debrief everyone on the intelligence he gathered while in captivity. turns out his illusionist clone is lying to the new young king of Stormwind and has convinced him to attack the horde. if he can't stop the attack then there will be all out war between the horde and the alliance and that would be pretty bad right now i guess.squeegee (OP) triple-posted this 8 years ago, 1 minute later, 4 minutes after the original post[^] [v] #832,955

she's also finished with the Suramar storyline which puts half of the story behind her. She still needs to finish attunement quests for the Nighthold Raid to kill Gul'dan, and then she can move onto the Broken Shore zone and attune to the Tomb of Sargeras Raid. then there's like 3 more zones after that on planet Argus hanging in the sky. so at this point the war with the burning legion is beginning to push back the lines into enemy territory and out of Azeroth.

huh. i didn't know this. the nightborne are being rounded up and shipped off to somewhere called the "soul forge." i've seen forges of souls before... they're never good. i guess this is what the Highborn are trying to keep covered up. in the past forges have been made that consume souls to do very dark magic, of course this has Gul'dan written all over it. and the Highborn leader Elisande or whatever. they're working together to do something with the Tomb of Sargeras and they need a lot of souls to do it, it would seem.
