SPANISH CHICKEN
Recipe serves: 6 | Prep Time 15 min | Cook Time 255 min
Ingredients
1 whole chicken, (about 2-1/2- to 3-lbs.)
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 cup beer
1 jar (7.50 oz.) roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
1/2 cup pimiento-stuffed olives
1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix
1 Tbsp. paprika
Directions
1. Arrange chicken, breast side up in 4-1/2-quart slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
2. Cook covered on HIGH 4 to 6 hours or LOW 8 to 10 hours. Serve, if desired, with hot cooked rice.
TIP: For authentic Spanish flavor, try substituting smoked paprika for regular paprika.

Is it possible to smoke paprika powder?
before you tell me i'm dumb, as why i would even ask this, i would like to back up my question. yes, we all know you can smoke "pot", smoke "hookah", cigs. even sage for crying out loud. my question is, is it possible to smoke paprika powder? to even roll a small "joint", light it and inhale, then exhale smoke? i'm curious, because you can do this with sage. and how.. i'm asking how it's possible, if it is, and the effects on your lungs. i know you cannot get high, obviously. i know that. i'm asking for the sake of knowing if you can exhale smoke. thank you.
