I was thinking of starting a business to provide care for pets of those who are raptured. Or do they remain until the end days and go to doggy-and-cat Hell?

The Bible is not really a systematic theology as such. It doesn't have a list of doctrines or a confession of faith in it.
However, nowhere does it say that animals DO have a soul, and (I believe) there are verses in the Old Testament that ask whether man and animals do not simply have the same fate after death - ie. nothingness.
The Bible also says that man was made in the image of God, which is typically taken to mean with a soul, as opposed to animals, who lack a soul.

The amount of knowledge that we have accumulated as a species is incredibly small compared to the amount of things that we do not know. And the teachings of the bible cover a very, very small part of the totality of the wisdom that we do have. I feel that many of the teaching from religious philosophy enrich our lives and give us a good background for ethical thinking --but to believe literally that the bible has all the answers and is the definitive word on anything is, to me, the opposite ofreasonable rational thinking.
