I am at Cafe Rio, home to Victorville's first ever unisex restroom labeled "All Gender", but they also do what Wing Stop does and only have an all gender and women's restroom. So I guess men have officially been group into the same category as trans and non-binary while ciswomen take prominence over all.

But it's not, just like the women's restroom wouldn't be the same if they renamed it the all genders restroom and left the men's one called men's. It's probably safer for nonbinary people in the women's room anyway since men are more likely to react with violence to gender non-conformity than women.

The thing is the rooms were different here. The women's restroom had stalls in it while the all gender restroom was your standard unisex restroom with a toliet, sink, and a urinal.

My family owns a ranch in central California, and we have been breeding public restrooms for generations. My grandfather just delivered a litter of public facilities on his farm that consisted of two men's rooms, a women's room, a general toilet and changing room facility, and two port-a-potties. As someone who grew up managing herds of restrooms on a ranch, I can assure you that all the breeds are still going strong.

Because why not have a men's, women's, and all gender or just make all restrooms all gender? What is this half in half bullshit? I wonder if an establishment would be called sexist if they had a men's and all gender but no women's.

But it's still just going to be the mens restroom because there are still only two distinct restrooms in the Cafe Rio. Ciswomen take prominence over all. How do you feel about this

I personally don't care because I am never going to be in this restaurant but it seems like a weird solution to me.
There is still going to be a restroom men can use obviously but it's not a "men's restroom" in the same way there is a "women's restroom".

Me too. You have "all gender" and "women". It's like what? Are transwomen allowed to use the women's room? If yes then what was the point of a gender neutral bathroom again?
It does seem unfair. Women get a women-only space but men don't get a men-only space. If there has to be a gender-neutral bathroom, men have to give up their space for it.
This actually seems like transgender hostility disguised as sensitivity. "There we gave you queers a neutral bathroom. Happy now Caitlyn Jenner? It's the MENS ROOM WHERE YOU BELONGED IN THE FIRST PLACE ??? AHAHAHAHAHA FAGS BTFO"

I think the only thing to do at this point is to build every toilet into its own separate, locking bathroom. This way the bathroom culture wars can be ended forever.

This feels right. Either stop bitching about where people shit or just do this and shut the fuck up. Don't just have this one segregated restroom then one for all restroom. Of course, if all restrooms are all genders then why does it need a label. Just call it a restroom and then have the male, female, handicap sign, but that is something different entirely.
My local Wing Stop I know for sure converted their men's room to unisex since I was there both times, but this Cafe Rio was in a newly constructed building implying that this was planned by an architect especially since the women's had stalls.

Some places already do that, bud. Also, there are practical reasons for the opening gap beneath the stales. I am going to try and see if I can find the article that I read. But one reason is so that it is easier to see if someone passed out so you can call 911.

I honestly thought this exact thing when I saw this arrangement the first time. But I think it could also be viewed as feminist hostility telling men that women were oppressed so long that even desiring a men's only space is sexist and that those men should check their privilege. And seeing as a good portion of feminists still see transwomen as men or as some sort of secondary being that is separate from ciswomen yet still a woman, this might be logic used to keep the women's only restroom. Which seems transphobic and a little hypocritical to me.
I even watched a man get confused by this arrangement too which made me say to myself, "Come on, use your English words and reading comprehension, figure it out."
And I also finding funny how when public restrooms first came into being there was no such thing as a women's room because it was used as a way to tell women to remain in the home. This was back during Victorian times. Now this makes me think we're in the reverse of that.
