Everyone knew Christie was done for and there was no way the Repubs could win anything. He had a 15 percent approval rate lol. Still it's nice that NJ will probably get legalized weed, higher minimum wage and improved healthcare among other left wing improvements. Slightly more pragmatically, once Menendez goes to prison for being a corrupt piece of shit, a Dem will be appointed to the US Senate instead of Christie nominating a Republican.
