Stoners themselves are usually pretty mellow. I've lived next to a few. I'm not a fan of the parade of skeezy friends that inevitably shows up or the paranoid stoner neighbor who is convinced that you must be breaking in and stealing his stash because he doesn't remember smoking it all.
Alcoholics aren't a whole lot better. It's the violent ones that you really need to look out for, but they usually end up in jail or the hospital before long.
