What do you use to relieve menstrual cramps on your monthly?
I use lavender tea and milk. Somehow it helps. That, and heat. When its too bad, tylonol 4.

Ibuprofen for cramps or any other aches works well. It performs wonders and will make you feel a lot better the first few days. Tylenol/aspirin/whatever also works of course. Good luck OP.

I had really bad, sometimes debilitating cramps. I got the Mirena and it has been hugely helpful -- I barely even notice cramps now, just a slight 'heavy' feeling.
Muscle relaxants can be reaaaaally helpful if a doctor is willing to prescribe them for you. Otherwise, pot. Lots of pot.

I spend the first day doubled over with a look of morbid anguish on my silly little face and make silly futile gestures for mercy and childlike cries for sweet release and then the rest of the week i go out and ride red unicorns underneath a rainbow-filled sky. Sweet. But seriously, the first day does involve finding a body position that doesn't kill with pain, take some painkillers, warm myself up, drink lots of water and veg in front of crap daytime tv until life can resume. WOMAN IS PAIN.

The Mirena just felt like a fairly uncomfortable pap smear when it was inserted. I'd requested (and taken) muscle relaxants ahead of time, though, and had pot brownies as well. Oxycontin too. I'd had a Paragard before this (which was much worse in all respects; I can PM you if you want to know more).
Side effects have all been positive -- less pain, less bleeding, none of the weight gain or mood issues you get with regular hormonal BC, and of course the super low failure rate is comforting. I'm about two years in to my current IUD and very happy with it.

Paragard is the one without hormones, right? I was actually considering that more than the Mirena because even low-doses of hormones in the past (like the nuvaring) have made me really sick with side effects.

I don't actually get cramps, something I feel very fortunate about. A friend of mine has periods that hit her so hard she stays in bed all day with a heating pad and towel wrapped around her like a diaper. Kind of gross, but poor girl.

Tubes open with a gap and blood can back out and trickle out all in2 body cavity
Ends up growing tiny miniature Uteri inside and everywhere.

I suggest crystal healing.
Works a fucking treat, helped my old Cat survive another week. I sort of regretted doing that but in that week, she had regained her energy, began eating normally and acted herself again.

I actually have fairly mild periods. I don't usually cramp, but my vaginal region always hurts terrible. I treat this with an over the counter pain reliever and a heating pad or hot water bottle. Marijuana, and orgasms help as well.
