Topic: I begin the law side of my transitioning, fora.

I visited the Courthouse today and got their form for a name and gender change. You have to buy them, but it was under $4. They require proof that I am undergoing transition so I asked if that is like a letter of dianogsis from my therapist, written prescriptions, etc. She said yeah, but that isn't her department. I have to turn the form in at the family law department. The woman who I spoke to said it's a long process. This feels surreal, because I never thought this would be happening.

Neat. Did you dress like a girl when you went to the courthouse?

@previous (B)
I'm waiting until I develop a little more, but most of my clothing is unisex anyway.

And you didn't feel weird asking for gender swap forms while presenting as a man? That's probably why they made a point of mentioning the proof you need.
You should probably at least be dressed as a girl on your court date, I hope you don't think this is all done on paper; you have to appear in person before the process is over.

Good luck! I hope they don't bog you down too much with paperwork and filing.

Though I find nearly all of your posts boring and pointless I hope this goes well for you and wish you luck.

At one of the final court appearances you have to show your chest to a court official in private an they take a digital photograph which shall be placed in your file.

@OP
You could have dressed up like a girl. Did you at least shave your neckbeard?
Mostly I just hope you shower and put on fresh clean clothes when you venture out in public.
What was it like going to a place that didn't serve fast food? Did you ask the clerk at the courthouse for two double McDoubles with extra everything?
Was there an awkward silence while you were waiting for them to ask you if you wanted fries with your sex change, and you blankly stared at each other as you were mouth breathing heavily and sweating profusely?
Did your mom drop you off to go sort your shit out?

> Mostly I just hope you shower and put on fresh clean clothes when you venture out in public.
Highly unlikely.
> What was it like going to a place that didn't serve fast food?
I bet he was overwhelmingly disappointed.
> Did you ask the clerk at the courthouse for two double McDoubles with extra everything?
He asked for a mcdouble on everything on the dollar menu.
> Was there an awkward silence while you were waiting for them to ask you if you wanted fries with your sex change, and you blankly stared at each other as you were mouth breathing heavily and sweating profusely?
If the clerk was a male, Catherine probably looked at him lovingly, wondering if he could get the clerk to suck his dick.
