I don't know what happened
They were fine when I saw them yesterday
When I got home one was buried and the other died in my arms
The other two look ok but the two dead ones looked fine yesterday so

And buddy is back in the hospital and scared

because they're only a few fucking weeks old and they're my friends and I've helped take care of them and they just opened their eyes and are learning how to walk and half of them are fucking dead and my roommate who has had bb kittens before thinks the other two won't last either which I know and agree with but I wish she hadn't said that out loud
She's had a lot more experience with animals I think
The cat I have is my first cat and I get scared he's dead when I haven't seen him in a couple of days
These little pure guys, I was watching them grow up, and they're actually dead. It seems fucking everyone is dying recently and I don't know how much I can stand it

Low birth weight, getting crowded out of nursing by litter mates, being prone to conditions like respiratory infections or digestive disorders, a weird version of SIDS for cats, etc. There are plenty of naturalistic reasons some fragile young kittens don't survive. I don't think you need to jump to conspiracy theories to explain it just yet.

I don't know they looked ok to me the night before
Thing is that you can't give flea meds to kittens that young, all you can do is bathe them and pick them off
And people were doing that
But it turns out the mom was bringing them in
And that's cause you can't give flea meds to a pregnant or nursing cat
And we didn't know that's where they were coming from
And by the time we figured it out and kept her inside it was too late I guess

Maybe? If you're talking fumigation we can't afford that. Raid spray we are cautious about cause it says it is toxic to living beings and can we get all the living beings a place to stay meanwhile
Anyway that would be for hard surfaces, right now I am just worried about fabrics and upholstery and fur cause fleas can live there but not on hard surfaces
Every lil itch makes me paranoid cause I do have flea bites from the kittens but they can't live on people anyway and I'm so exhausted
I can't even pet my own fucking cat right now cause I just gave him a flea treatment and you can't pet them for a day after

Well you can get that stuff that you sprinkle on carpets and upholstery and vacuum up. Then find some outdoor spray and spray the yard

they make powerful spray 'bombs' that you can get at a hardware or maybe a pet store. they clear out like 2 rooms at a time of all fleas and anything that's alive really
you have to clear the place out for 2 hours or so but that's all. it'll kill the fleas.

You can spray stuff, but it's be better to get a flea spray. sometimes the eggs/larvae/dormant fleas don't die from non-specific pesticide. They make powders as well. you can use diatomaceous earth when you get tired of putting pesticide everywhere. it kills them mechanically and you can put it on your cat too

yeah im sorry. losing pets and flea infestations are really really tough. your cat should be ok. did he get a topical one like advantage or a pill or what? also do you have a flea comb?? I haven't had fleas in like 2 years but I still use mine. they are useful
you could give your cat a bath with a gentler flea shampoo in a few days too
there are also some products out there that are mostly just clove and a mix of some other oils like peppermint and stuff and they work and that's another thing you can put on everything and your cat and yourself
i was using this stuff along with the diatomaceous earth for like 2 months after im pretty sure the fleas were gone from the gas bomb thing
i hate fleas

It's feeling a lot more manageable for me now but idk about roommates
Everyone seems really tense and are upset with each other for not reacting the way they should. Idk I think people are upset about cats and just taking it out on each other
