I'm 28 now, am I just growing up?

Do you just find them boring?

"boring? Isn't it?" "Are you just figuring that out?"

I don't know what it is but I can't sit down and fully immerse. I can only manage to play a game for like max 1 hour at a time.

it's only been like a month since you stopped posting your massive steam library
just keep up the good roll and replace video games with apples

This is like me. Most of the time, at this moment, all I do is fuck around in Minecraft instead of playing legitimate (just survival instead of survival and creative on the same map) or creating new characters on The Sims 4.

find a productive hobby. games are not productive at all, and are a huge waste of time in that you don't really have anything to show after all the hours you put it.

you like drones, you might really like building and flying model airplanes for example. it's a great and complex hobby and you learn a lot about a difficult subject. and it's all pretty easy to get into. there are even lots of clubs, and in rural areas like where you're moving you'll probably be able to fly it on your property.

something like that would probably help. woodworking is pretty fun, and there are a lot of simple projects you can do to get started. learn to make simple boxes and install off the shelf music box parts and make gifts for people.

watch enough youtube forging videos to make a simple home made forge and learn how to turn wax casts into aluminum. or learn how to make knives and sell them on etsy.

working with your hands and making things is very, very rewarding and you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on equipment. but it's always fun to get new, long wanted equipment to make jobs easier and projects better.

there are lots of hobbies you can get into that are way more rewarding than gaming - and that can make you some money too.

learn to do glass working and make pyrex pot pipes and sell them to headshops.

you can learn to make jewelry, it takes surprisingly few tools and fairly cheap soldering equipment to start making legit jewelry and there are a million tutorials on how to get started. i dated a girl years who made silver teddy bear necklaces and sold them.

you can start by turning silver dollars into rings, there's a neat tutorial for that. just need a 12 dollar jewlers anvil, a small hammer, a standard drill, a small round file and some light sandpaper.

eventually you can get a polishing wheel and a few other things and start making more complex things.

anyway, think about finding a hobby and start making some cool shit. you're an artist, i bet you can make some neat stuff.

meh, hobbies are for everyone to enjoy. kinda feel sorry for you if that's your actual opinion on working with your hands.

I don't think so. I know games aren't productive but I know a lot of older people who watch TV which is even less productive. At least games can help your reaction time, strategy, and creative thinking skills.

oh, i got another good one, learn to make cosplay equipment. if you can master the technique of painting plastic to look like worn metal then you can turn NERF guns into all kinds of cosplay weapons and people will actually pay decent money for that kind of thing. watch Adam Savage's (mythbuster guy) youtube channel and he demonstrates on NERF guns and high quality hand made models. looks fun.

and you like making art, so you can explore that more seriously as a hobby as well. i actually recommend that a lot, if you enjoy the tedium of making art then go as deep as you can and start working with other than digital media. art supplies don't have to cost you a fuck load of money.

i'll stop throwing out suggestions, point being i think you're bored and need to find another interest you can immerse yourself in as deeply as you ever immersed yourself in a game. do that and at some point down the road you'll be enjoying gaming again. it just can't be your only immersive passion.

oh yeah, and you mentioned on discord that when you move you're going to work on setting up a garden, you should still totally do that in the spring. that'll be fun work.

brie is someone. why do you like to go around asking people if they have pathetic lives? are you trying to make yourself feel better by comparing yourself to your lame mental images of people?
i think it is.
