Topic: Need help articulating proficiently in favor of Doc prescribing some hydrocodone..

It's probably a lost cause since there was no broken bone shown on x-ray (I've since learned sometimes an MRI or CAT scan is needed to see veeery small fractures)..

But...damnit...there was trauma and there has been serious discomfort as I've tried to continue through each day as normally as I can..

I really feel strongly that if I had at least one or two hydro codone tablet a shift I could make it at work and be able to keep my job...but I'm nervous about the pain..

Is there any responsible and practical way I might lobby for medication successfully..

There are doctors all over who will write prescriptions for that stuff like it's candy. Can't you find a local "chronic pain specialist" or whatever?

Most people in that situation usually have a dealer anyway so it's not the biggest issue? Obvs more expensive on the street (and idk what the fentanyl situation is in the states). But idk how much prescription drugs cost in the US either

I just moved to a small town...only met the closest neighbors...not aware of anyone who sells anything..

I just want some shit so I can work without acute pain...until my injury clears up...I am afraid they will replace me if I can't perform properly..

prescription only? here it's behind the counter and it's up to a pharmacist's discretion to give it to you or not

also i was wrong i think it's only T1s that are otc and T3s are prescription. still tho.
